I was remebering the days after 9/11 and the lead up to the invasion of Iraq. and the dread. and the fight. and the feeling that some machines are too big to stop. I read the headline claiming the evacuation of the Gaza strip was complete and I read not believing. But wether or not I believe all I read the truth is something is happening in the world I never thought I would see. And then I walk by the gas station and look up at mock signs rudely configured to allow for a new reality in gas pricing. The third digit comes with a little surpise despite the inevitible creeping towards this point. And as pocket books scream in alarm, I breath a sigh of relief that some things are more important |
