It reminded me of you. The you's who almost killed themselves on a ill planned white water raft. Or the you's who stole ketchup from drive through windows. Even the you who had your tires slashed by some crazy ex. The you I kinda admire and despise at the same time. They were yelling at the driver from across the street. Motioning wildy. Holding up traffice. He couldn't back up, not with all he towed. Shelves of magazines blocked my view as I can only assume the poor victim/villan pounded on the ATM as if that would make it faster. With a was of cash in hand, and clan of followers in concerned debate it looked like the transaction would be safe. And what I can only imagine was mommy and daddy's SUV the night was likely saved, for a cost. Do these things happen every day? To 19 year old boys, walking that walk you must be taught at birth but it is hidden somewhere in your psyche until the destined birthday. |
