Thank you. You are crazy, but great!

Last night Chris and I went sat between a two ladies (I mean older than me and without 10 year olds to escort) and a very large man who jerked my chair back every time he twitched. And in front of us, showing up late for each set sat the definition of cougar!

That woman, I use the term losely, was obnoxious. Telling off little girls who stood in front of her, kicking people out of her seat (I guess that makes a little sense but why did you show up so late it is not that kind of show it is freakin' Canadian Idol) and then telling off little girls behind you who leaned too much. All the you had your feet on the stage, you screamed something to Melissa or her band (the same band Rexy and Kalan use with Sass' creepy husband, a cool bass player and the spazziest fro'd out guitar player ever) that had the word bastard in it. I love the way the little girls stared at you as you performed what seemed like a lap dance without a lap. They turned to look at their mothers and giggle.

It was all that I could ask for.

Melissa cried when she sang the song to her brother. The basketball team she coached with her dad was 2 rows behind us wearing glow in the dark bunny ears.

A little boy stood at the stage hurling his rocker arms back and forth until Rexy so Sexy came up to him and gave him the sign. Then the little boy beamed from ear to ear.

The crowd shrieked when Rex took off his black hat and put on the white one, OK I might have too. And the crowed chanted Me-Liss-Aaaaah over and over.

Oh and that crazy guitar player had one of the oddest tinny gold guitars I have ever seen. And he had these great jerky episodes, but I missed one when I got distracted by Claire the usher trying to enact some crowd control.

And Chris laughed so hard when Rexy so Sexy (indeed he is) started "on the Road Again". Rexy so Sexy also told one story about Winnipeg, so that made me happy and then for the encore with Melissa he wore a Calgary Flames Hat.
